It is ten years since Lloyd Webber plays Lloyd Webber was released. The original album contained music from Andrew Lloyd Webber's great stage hits of the 70s and 80s; Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat, Cats, Evita, Aspects Of Love, Song And Dance, Starlight Express and Phantom Of The Opera, as well as the enormously popular "Pie Jesu" from the Requiem.

Now, to coincide with Julian Lloyd Webber's 50th birthday, Philips will release this comprehensively updated version of the album for April 2001 shipment.

Newly recorded tracks include songs from the big hits of the 1990s; Sunset Boulevard and Whistle Down The Wind, as well as two tracks from the current smash hit football musical The Beautiful Game: "God's Own Country" and "Our Kind Of Love" (which also appears on the new album from Donny Osmond).
