RECORDING INFORMATION
Without a shadow of doubt one of the absolute treasures of the Philips catalogue!

When these two giants of the music world came together in the early 1960s to record Beethoven’s Sonatas for Cello and Piano, history was written.

For this series we’ve remastered everything in 24 bits-96kHz to make this historic recording sound even more as if it had been made only yesterday.

The Third Sonata, op.69, is especially interesting in this case, as it had never been remastered from the original 3-track tape before. Now here’s an opportunity to hear it as it really should sound!
