RECORDING INFORMATION
Arguably the world's most prestigious and famous orchestra performs works by the world's most famous composer, conducted by the classical star Riccardo Muti.

Symphony No.29 was completed in 1774 when Mozart was only 18. It is seen as having "modern" resonances which do not appear in his later symphonies.

Symphony No.33 was written mainly in the summer of 1779. It is almost like orchestral chamber music in its detail, although it has all the energy of a full symphony.

Symphony No.34 was written in 1780 and was probably his last written in Salzburg before he left the city.
